Although we bid a tearful farewell to the alternate "Fringe"
universe in Season 4 (and to Lincoln, Walternate, Alt-Astrid and
Fauxlivia as a result), is there a chance we could see it again?
If these new preview clips from the Nov. 9 episode are any indication, we say ... definitely maybe. Okay, it's probably a long shot, but in Walter's quest to recover the tapes, he reveals a way to open a "pocket" universe between Over Here and Over There, and that's close enough for us. After all, this is "Fringe," so anything is possible! There's also a heartbreaking scene in which Peter and Olivia try to hold on to the memory of Etta however they can -- we dare you not to cry.
Fox also released a worrying glimpse at Peter's evolution, with the actors weighing in on the younger Bishop's decision to implant Observer tech into himself.
"Fringe" airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
